fixing blog

I guess blogger has problems holding on to pictures? I guess I've found a way around it.

Coming Home

Today was Drew's big day to come home. He met it with his usual excitement. Could barely rouse him to eat a few times today. It's making nursing a real chore but other than our concern for his nourishment. You really couldn't ask for a better baby. Right now he is knackered out in his swing, wearing REAL pajamas.

Chillin

Drew had a very big day today. He had lots of visitors. Nana came down early to help mom and we hung out in the morning. He is a champ when it comes to eating now . Does he look hungry? He probably is. So far today he has eaten alot and the big event of the day was every guys worst day so he's a little cranky and uncomfortable. BUT as always a delight. He was visited today by Nana and Aunt Liz, and Cousin Gina. Then Great Aunt Marlene and Grandpa, Great Uncle Dick and Nana or whatever my mother is going to be called. I wonder if we missed anyone.

Watching Rudolph

From JulieCam

This is my favorite moment so far with Drew. He is just over 24 hours old and we get to watch the Rankin-Bass "Rudolph the red nosed Reindeer" special on TV. It would be a real understatement to say that this was a really important moment for me. In this picture I'm singing like a doofis to my new son, and I wouldn't change a thing.

There's always tomorrow, For dreams to come true.
Believe in your dreams , come what may.
There's always tomorrow , with so much to do
and so little time in a day.

this is just about where I lose it... the puppets get me every time. I'm sure I need some time on a therapists couch for this one.

First post

Hi.. I'm still staying at the hospital and taking advantage of the free wi-fi they have here. Unfortunately there are alot of restrictions here at the hospital on their wi-fi and I haven't been able to post pictures very well. I'm blocked from major upload sites such as flickr, picasa and even posting my nice new photos of Drew is a real pain from here. But, it's free so, what can ya do?..
The best has yet to come.
